Hartpury Village Hall has carried out a COVID risk assessment which identifies the measures taken in order to become and remain COVID secure. Hirers may also be required to complete their own risk assessment before bookings can be confirmed, depending on the nature of the planned event. We have drafted a Sample Risk Assessment for Hirers which can be used as a starting point, but alternative formats can also be used if preferred.
Alongside our normal conditions of hire we have introduced some further Special Conditions of Hire relating to the COVID-19 pandemic. All hall users can help us by observing the guidelines in our COVID-19 Secure Notice.
UPDATE 18 JULY 2021: The COVID secure notice and the COVID risk assessment have been updated to reflect the removal of various legal restrictions with effect from 19 July 2021. At this stage the Special Conditions of Hire have not been updated, pending further advice from ACRE, the national village halls network association. We are aware that a number of provisions in this document are no longer fully applicable as a result of the changes to the legal restrictions, and we will update this document as soon as possible. If any hall user has a specific concern about any of the details in the document, please contact us as necessary for clarification.
