We are home to many organisations that use the hall regularly.
Hartpury W.I. meets in the village hall on the second Thursday of each month. The programme of events for 2020 is available here.
Hartpury WI celebrated its centenary year in 2019 and as part of the celebrations an elm tree was planted in Broad Street. In conjunction with Hartpury Parish Council we worked on the garden round the War Memorial, clearing shrubs and planting flowers for a colourful summer display. We have planted two thousand spring bulbs round the Village as well as snowdrops round the elm. The WI has a range of activities and we involve ourselves within the local community, providing afternoon tea for the Villagers and tea for Hartpury C of E School as part of the 150th year celebrations of the School. We have supported the National Riding for the Disabled Championships at Hartpury College which has allowed us to donate equipment to the local Maisemore Riding for the Disabled. We take part in the Christmas Tree Festival at St Mary’s Church thinking up a different theme each time. Hartpury WI also has a thriving Craft Club, Gardening Club, Scrabble Club and Walking Group all meeting regularly. We have had some memorable trips one of which was to the Cotswold Distillery and another to David Austin Roses, with more planned for the coming years. You can find the range of events we participate in on Facebook and the programme on the Village Hall website.
Hartpury Youth Club meets at the hall on Friday evenings, generally fortnightly, from 6.30 – 8.00. The club is open to young people in school years 6-10 inclusive. Upcoming dates are listed below, please note that activities listed are provisional / subject to change. In addition to the featured activities there are always opportunities to take part in games and craft activities, as well as music and a tuck shop.
Owing to the Coronavirus the youth club has been suspended until further notice.
