The play area resurfacing project was recently completed and we are delighted with the result. The bonded mulch material provides a single safety surface around all the individual items of play equipment as well as the area around the entrance gate, which was particularly prone to waterlogging in wet weather. We are very grateful to the organisations which have provided significant grant funding toward the project, namely Gloucestershire County Council, Hartpury Parish Council, Hartpury University and College and the Gloucestershire Playing Fields Association. We also took the opportunity to remove the damaged wooden bench by the entrance gate and to install a new picnic table with a better view of the whole area.
